Industry Training Authority (ITA)
This site offers labour market information for apprentices, employers, new residents and the general public. Trades careers information, profiles of trades and occupations regulated by the ITA, education and training options, and information on credentialing requirements are provided.

Working in Canada
WorkinginCanada.gc.ca provides a national perspective on the world of work. It produces detailed reports based on your choice of any occupation and location in Canada. The report pulls information together from a number of national and provincial sources to offer you job and career information such as main duties, skill and educational requirements, wage rates and salaries, current employment trends and outlooks, and job offers. National Occupational Classification (NOC)
The NOC is the nationally accepted reference on occupations in Canada. It organizes over 30,000 job titles into 520 occupational group descriptions. It is used daily by thousands of people to compile, analyze and communicate information about occupations, and to understand the jobs found throughout Canada's labour market. Career Handbook (CH) (2003)
The CH provides 923 occupational profiles based on NOC 2001 occupations and includes information on aptitudes, interests, involvement with data/people/things, physical activities, environmental conditions, education/training indicators, career progression and work settings. The Alliance of Sector Councils (TASC): Gateway to Careers
Learn about the kinds of career opportunities that exist in over 30 key sectors of the Canadian economy and the skills and training the sectors require. This site is available in 12 languages.

This Canadian Apprenticeship Forum portal site contains thousands of web links to different apprenticeship information sites across Canada.
